The medical counseling and medication program that the Dr. has me on saved my life. It is a very comprehensive program. The Dr. has explained in great detail how the medications work and what I can reasonably expect from them. He has helped me to understand my condition and teach me how to deal with my illness.

Today, my life and productivity level is much higher than I ever expected or hoped it would or could be when I first started. Though I have not experienced any other surgeries nor had Chronic Pain before, I had received therapy and counseling for a period of one and a half years prior to coming to the Dr..

My prior program and the doctor I worked with did very little in helping me ease my Pain, Anxiety and ultimately, my Depression. I feel the Dr. has put together a program that really works. He has given me, my wife and my family hope that I can have a productive life.

Thank you Dr.. I hope this testimonial helps you in your website. It is truly the way I feel about you and what you are doing for me.

At the age of 36 I injured my back in a work-related incident. I had undergone Surgery to try and alleviate the pressure my lower discs were causing to the Spinal Cord. After 2 unsuccessful surgeries, my Orthopedic Surgeon released me from his care. He refused to believe that I was in constant Pain and that the Surgeries didn't improve my condition.

On top of that, I had a workman's compensation insurance company sending me to doctors who put me through test after test and also called me a liar! I had minimum income to support my wife and 2 young children. Unable to work, feeling useless and unproductive as a person, I was on the brink of SUICIDE!

A friend, who had a similar condition to mine, suggested that I seek the help of his doctor. Needless to say, I was very skeptical and reluctant to go. When I first went to the Dr. in 1993, I was severely depressed and in Chronic Pain. The Dr. worked with me for many months to find a medication combination to both relieve my depression and Chronic Pain. I still see The Dr. on a regular basis and at times my medication still needs to be adjusted to maintain optimum effectiveness.

With the Dr.S help my outlook on life has changed tremendously. I am on medication to control my Depression and although the Chronic Pain in my back will never be completely gone, the Pain Management Treatment I receive makes it more bearable. Even though I have strict limitations and will never be able to function as a whole person, I no longer give up hope. I am able to accept life for what it brings and make the best of it.

Have you had past surgeries to relieve your Chronic Pain?

Yes 2. A Laminectomy and Spinal Fusion. They only made the Chronic Pain worse.

Do you have any thoughts about Chronic Pain?

Yes. Chronic Pain is unbearable and incurable. No one can relate until they have experienced it for themselves. Although many try to imagine, there's just no comparison. Most of the medical profession refuse to support its existence. I have first hand knowledge that Chronic Pain does exist and medication does make a huge difference. It's not an addiction to the narcotics, as those who have never experienced severe Pain, it's a way of feeling functional.

My name is Danny and I have had 4 unsuccessful Back surgeries and numerous procedures. I now have a Broken Screw and Plate in my Back with unbearable Pain. The Dr. has caringly treated me with Pain medications that have allowed me much relief and a more manageable life than any other treating doctor. I could not continue on with any normalcy in my life dealing with the Pain in my back and hips without the Dr.'s help.

I have 2 children, one undergoing cancer treatment in a children's hospital in Philadelphia. Without The Dr.'s help I would never be there to support my son during his recovery. I am forever in his debt and I don't know what I would do without his support. For the RELIEF I receive from this unbearable Pain, I will continue to be forever grateful.

Both my husband Joe and myself have been seeing The Dr. for approximately 4 years now. My husband Ken has had 1 Back surgery and requires another. He also has had 2 ankle surgeries from an accident and suffers from Chronic Pain.

Until he saw the Dr. the other doctors thought my husband was crazy because he would end up in the Emergency Room at least once a week thinking he was having a Heart Attack. When a young intern finally told us he was suffering from a Panic Attack and not a Heart Attack we found the Dr.. He understood my husbands problems immediately. He put my husband on medication for his Panic Attacks.

His Attacks have gone from 4 or 5 a week to 4 or 5 a month.
This was a blessing in disguise. Hopefully one day they will be gone completely. The Dr. has also been a saint helping my husband with his Chronic Pain that he deals with every day of his life. Before, when my husband got up in the morning he could hardly walk or stand. He was practically crippled. The medication the Dr. has prescribed has helped my husband go back to a normal lifestyle as is possible for someone in his condition. He has saved my husbands life and can't thank him enough for it.

As for me, I have had many health problems in the past four years. First I have Lupus, and I am forever in Pain, joint Pain, in the early morning and at the end of the day. With the medication the Dr. has prescribed me I have been able to go back to work and perform my duties as required.

My anxiety has decreased and I feel much better about myself.I want to again Thank you Dr. for helping us get our lives back to as normal as possible for now.

    Dear Dr.,

I'm sorry I didn't get this to you sooner. It was not easy writing this for your website, not because I couldn't think of anything but because I didn't know where to stop! This item for your website is from the heart. I can't begin to thank you for all you have done for me and my family. If there is anything else I can do please let me or Betty know, it is the least we can do.

I have never had a Dr. who is so committed to myself, my family and my well being. The Dr. is always there day or night. The Dr. is always up to the minute with new medications, surgeries etc.

I have had a total of 7 SURGERIES to relieve my Chronic Pain. They were not successful. However, due to the Dr. and his determination to help me both physically and mentally, I am still hopeful.

I am truly thankful that I have a Dr. who understands my Pain. Along with regular counseling, The Dr. has designed a medication regimen to help me cope with my Chronic Pain.

THE Dr. WILL ALWAYS OPEN THE DOOR, YOU JUST HAVE TO WALK THROUGH.

The Dr. is a great doctor. He treats you as a person instead of a number and he can relate to the problems you have.

The medication he has me taking helps sustain somewhat of a normal life. Without Pain medication I would have not been able to move on with my life.

    Thank you Dr.,

I've been under the Dr.S care about 4 or 5 years now, with visits to his office once a week. At first, I was only taking one aspirin with 10mg of Codeine for Chronic Pain. After seeing my MRI scan he was able to pin down were my Pain was coming from and explained to me as to why I was having trouble and in Chronic Pain.

The Dr. started me on the medications I needed right away. He called my lawyer and told him I was having big problems and ordered a walker for me as well.He showed me how the surgeries I had did nothing for me and only alleviated the Pain.

He switched me to Painkillers with narcotic and explained the necessity not to drink and only take the prescribed amount. For any person who is considering having surgery to stop their Pain make sure you get a 3rd and 4th or more opinions and don't rush into it.

Hi, I'm Todd. I'm an office erector and I build 200 and 300 thousand square foot warehouses for professional business. I pour hundreds of yards of concrete. I frame all the interior walls with 2x4 metal studs, than sheetrock, tape and finish the walls so they are ready to paint. I do all this work with FOUR HERNIATED DISCS in my Lower Back and straightening of the Lumbar Spine.

Sometimes the Pain was so excruciating I was unable to work. But with the help of Pain and Anti-Inflammatory medication from the Dr., I've been able to work at least 5-6 days a week so I can maintain my career. I also have my own business and manage to do work on the side, sometimes 12-14 hours a day!. With the help of the Dr. I've been able to keep working and provide for myself and most important, my family, for the rest of our lives....
